The Utility Buttpack is a small-sized backpack in DayZ Standalone.

The Utility Buttpack has as many slots as a Field Vest, but can be attached to the Assault Vest to add additional capacity to your inventory. You can also equip another backpack on your back after you have combined the two. Likewise, the attached pack and vest can also be equipped whilst using a ghillie body of any variant.

The Drybag Backpack is a large-sized backpack found primarily in civilian locations.It is waterproof, keeping your items dry from the rain and other sources of water. Modified Mossy and woodland ghillie tops that take the hip slot, so you can wear backpacks with them. These Ghillie suits spawn in boxes that spawn in military zones. (If you install the xmls.) Kryptek Mandrake Tactical set containing a tactical shirt and some tactical cargo pants. US WW2 Backpack; US WW2 Medic Wool top. Camo baseball hat. I am trying to increase the backpack size on my own private Open Dayz server. I have edited the bags.hpp file and increased the Coyote backpack size as shown below. Then I repacked the PBO file and put it on the server and client, restarted the server and connected. The bag size does not change.it is still limited to 24 slots. Optical instrument (2 slots) 3. • Previous to Beta, the Utility Buttpack was called the SMERSH Backpack.
• The Buttpack can be worn as a standard backpack if desired. This is usually how they are shown when equipped on the Infected.

• When the Buttpack is attached to the Assault Vest and the vest ends up in a ruined state, the Buttpack will usually remain in an undamaged state. This can then be removed from the damaged vest and attached to a new one when ready.

Backpacks are equippable items that can be used to expand a survivor's carrying capacity. Survivors with a backpack can carry more supplies and weapons, thus greatly improving the chances of survival. A few backpacks are able to be crafted, but most have to be obtained through looting.

When equipped, a backpack provides extra inventory slots in addition to the slots contributed by a player's clothing. There are several types of backpacks, varying in size, with the smallest of these having 8 slots and the largest having 40 slots. Large backpacks are necessary to carry an extra primary weapon or other large-sized items.

Backpacks also have damage states like any other equipment, and due to this property items inside may be damaged when the backpack takes damage. Damage states, however, do not affect the backpack's ability to contain items.

Ghillie equipment including the Ghillie Suit, Ghillie Bushrag, and Ghillie Top, are technically backpacks with no inventory capacity. They are instead listed on the Clothing article to avoid confusion.
